South Point has become the fourth Las Vegas based company to offer sports betting via a mobile app. The free app is readily available and is compatible for both Android and iOS. The app bears some similarities with the already established sports betting app by William Hill.
In order to be able to use the app and place wagers, the mobile device must be physically located within the borders of the state of Nevada and users must make a minimum deposit of $100. Users outside of the Nevada state borders can also instal and access the application and even make deposits but will not be able to place wagers.
The app is not functional on jailbroken devices. Most bets are available on the app except for parlay cards and pari-mutuel racing. There are currently other such apps available for the Nevada market by Station Casinos, William Hill and Cantor Gaming.
